If your door is original to a house built before 1950, we'll tell you straight that some hardware on those older units is no longer made, and we won't pretend to have a part sitting on the truck when we don't.
We also won't quote a repair over the phone for a spring job sight unseen. Torsion spring size depends on door weight and drum size, and guessing wrong means a second trip. We'd rather look at the door once than twice.
